Rehearsing for "Pirates of the Curry Bean"

We are busy rehearsing for our show tonight! We've practised our dances already, and now we are having a full run-through! Children will need to be back at Hawthorn High School tonight and tomorrow night at 5.30pm. The show starts at 6pm, and is expected to finish at around 7pm. We can't wait!

Disney Showcase

The performance was watched and enjoyed by many parents from our school, as well as Heol y Celyn and Hawthorn High School. The children are wearing T-shirts and masks that they designed on another transition day. The children sang their hearts out! As an extra treat, Naiya, Erin and Tamaya were invited to sing at the microphone! Well done, everyone!

Disney Showcase at Hawthorn High School

Hawthorn High School has invited the Year 5 pupils to take part in transition activities. We have been learning some Disney songs ready for a performance. It has been organised by the Drama and Dance department. Here we are rehearsing! 

Separating mixtures

Today we found out that some pesky pixies had mixed some of Ms Green's materials. How mischievous! Ms Green challenged us to separate the mixtures, and return each ingredient to her in its original condition. What a task! Here are the different mixtures:

pasta and sand

cornflour and salt.
