Louise Clough, local artist

We have been ultra busy this afternoon because we've also been visited by local artist Louise Clough. She showed us some of her beautiful paintings and talked about her inspirations.

Visiting welsh adviser

We are very lucky to have Miss Attree visiting us. She specialises in teaching Welsh. Today we have learnt a new poem called "Ble wyt ti'n byw?"

Artist workshop

Mr Bradbeer, an art teacher from St. John the Baptist School, visited the upper juniors this afternoon to do some art work linked to our topic "Gallery".

He showed the children how to draw a picture starting with 3 rugby balls...
which became Santa Claus!

He showed us how to draw people in the style of "The Simpsons".
We all had a go at Simpsonifying some very famous portraits.
What do you think?
