We have had some Maths Kits from Techniquest today!
We had an opportunity to try to solve problems.
It was lots of fun!
Here are William, Jimmy and Madison trying the move the entire pyramid but only moving one circle at a time, and not putting a bigger one onto a smaller one.
Building a large pyramid out of smaller pyramids, tetrahedra and octahedra.
Sliding squares - how many moves will it take to move the ball from the top left to the bottom right square?
Fitting shapes into a large square and then smaller squares.
Can you out-fox your friends? The one who picks up the last rod loses!
Building pyramids out of spheres.
How many different ways are there to arrange the tiles?
Can you pack these cuboids so they fit exactly into the clear case?
Building large tetrahedra out of smaller tetrahedra and octahedra.
